Saturday October 11th Show Added to Weekend of Laughs

Columbus Day Weekend –October 11 & October 12 at Boardwalk Hall

Atlantic City, NJ –The Atlantic City Comedy Festival is back in its fifth year of fun and laughter hosted at Atlantic City’s own, Boardwalk Hall.

This year’s festival will commence on the evening of Saturday, October 11 and continue Sunday night, October 12 in Atlantic City at Boardwalk Hall. Tickets for the Sunday show are on sale while the Saturday show will go on sale to the public, Friday, August 22. Columbus Day Weekend 2014 will mark the fifth year for The Atlantic City Comedy Festival, and this year’s festival promises to be better than ever. The Saturday, October 11th show line-up has just been announced to hype anticipation and the comedians include Corey Holcomb (Black Jesus) as headliner, along with Adele Givens (Queens of Comedy), John Witherspoon (Black Jesus), Gary Owen (Think Like A Man Too), Aries Spears (Shaq’s All Star Comedy Jam) and Huggy Lowdown (Tom Joyner Morning Show).  Festivities will commence on Saturday night, as fans will experience hilarious, side-splitting humor from some of the nations most noted, critically acclaimed comedians. As for Sunday night’s performance line-up, October 12th, the show will feature headlining actor-comedian Mike Epps (Shaquille O'Neal Presents: All Star Comedy Jam - Live from Las Vegas), Rickey Smiley (Rickey Smiley Morning Show), Earthquake (WBLS Radio host of Quakes House), Dominique (Tom Joyner Morning Show) and Cipha Sounds (New York’s “Hot 97” radio).  From sold-out arenas, top grossing comedy tours, number one box office films, Showtime comedy specials, ground-breaking TV shows, and nationally syndicated radio shows, these comics have seen and done it all.

The past four years of festivals have been incredibly successful, with sold out shows as fans hail from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Washington DC.  The festival is in such demand that in previous years there have been up to four sold out performances at the Tropicana. This will mark the second year the festival has relocated back to Boardwalk Hall, where the festival promoters can better accommodate the increasing audience demand for the annual weekend of laughs in Atlantic City.
